The newly elected President of Moldova Nicolae Timofti said the European vector is the rulers’ priority and he expressed confidence that Moldova will manage to get where it plans, Info-Prim Neo reports. Nicolae Timofti said that he accepted the proposal to run for President for the people’s interest, for peace and stability and that he will rule the country by obeying the Constitution. “Together we will manage to do what’s best for Moldova,” he stated. Nicolae Timofti was elected President by 62 votes – 58 votes of the AEI, three votes of the Dodon group, and one vote of the unaffiliated MP Mihai Godea.
