“I voted for a nice, green and neat city, with a good manager who does everything for the residents’ benefit,” President Nicolae Timofti said after casting his vote on June 28, IPN reports.

The head of state came to the polling place accompanied by First Lady Margareta Timofti. He said that the election outcome must by the one expected by the inhabitants of Chisinau municipality.

On June 14, Nicolae Timofti said he visited many cities abroad and our capital city is also nice, but we can make it even nicer.
