Iulian Grigorita was named as the President’s adviser on foreign policy and European integration. A decree to this effect was signed by President Nicolae Timofti on September 16, IPN has learned from the presidential press service.
Iulian Grigorita, 42, is a career diplomat. He held different posts in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. He served as a diplomat at the Embassy of Moldova in Berlin and as a consul general in Frankfurt, Germany as well as a minister-consultant at Moldova’s Mission to the EU in Brussels, Belgium.
He graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies of Bucharest, the Faculty of International Economic Relations. He is a Bachelor of Global Economics.
