Moldova’s President Nicolae Timofti send a congratulatory message to the President-elect of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker on the occasion of the vote of confidence given by the European Parliament to him, IPN reports, quoting the presidential press service.

“I profit from this nice occasion to express my country’s readiness to extend and enhance the relations of friendship and cooperation with the European Union given Moldova’s determination to integrate into the large European family,” reads the message.

Nicolae Timofti expresses his conviction that during this five-year tenure, the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker will contribute to building a united and prosperous Europe.
