Liberal-Democratic MP Nicolae Juravschi said that he will vote for the ratification of the Association Agreement with the EU. “There is no other solution. We must go on only,” the lawmaker has told IPN within an inquiry held among the lawmakers.
Nicolae Juravschi noted that this accord brings Moldova first of all economic advantages and not only. “Currently, most of the young people go to the EU to acquire good knowledge and return to build a Europeans country at home. The advantages are evident,” said the lawmaker.
He added that another better opportunity does not exist, while the discussions about the possible entry into a customs union (the Russia – Belarus – Kazakhstan Customs Union) are out-of-date. “We cannot go back,” said Nicolae Juravschi.
A number of 51 votes are needed for ratifying the Association Agreement with the EU, which is to be signed on June 27.
