Appeal of Moscow and Tiraspol to peace forces of Dniestre represents a well directed show, perhaps in Moscow, in order to involve as well the Joint Control Commission (CUC) to get the impression of a dramatic situation that does not correspond to reality, the political analyst, Nicolae Chirtoaca, manager of the Centre Euro-Atlantic of Moldova stated. According to him, their tactic is very simple and based on dramatising the situation in conflict zone, trying to present the things such way that Ukraine and Moldova introduce an economic blockade, resulting with a significant human crisis. „This is the explanation to attempts to use CUC, which is responsible exclusively for security in this zone, to convince public opinion, Russian Federation, as well as the West of existence of a dramatic situation. But in fact, the consequences and the significance of measures undertaken by Chisinau are exaggerated,” the political analyst noted. The majority of control points of the left of Dniestre include peace forces composed of the representatives of the Russian troops and separatist formations. In Chirtoaca’s opinion, namely these forces can provide support and assistance to organisation „Prorav” and to certain „old women associations” who remember about the ‘90, when the railways were blocked. „Organisation „Prorav” is created to counteract a possible scenario of the „orange” type, about which is discussed very often in Transnistria. In fact, there dozens, maybe hundreds of persons, on one hand veterans and old men, who amuse while striking at the border, on the other hand, young people who are very well paid and supported by local MGB of Antiufeev-Sevtov, well organised for such situations,” the manager of the Centre Euro-Atlantic of Moldova also noted. According to him, these organisations are used as tools in the games of a narrow group of persons, those who in fact benefit from destabilising the situation and self-victim-ing. During the meeting of CUCion, held on Thursday, 9 Mach, in Tighina (Bender), the delegations of Russia and Transnistria in CUC called the militaries of peace forces of Dniestre to strengthen the control over the security of the region related to worsening of the social-political situation. Today, 10 March, Russian government shall adopt a decision regarding the situation created at Moldovan-Ukrainian border after the change, on 3 March 2006, of the transit regime of Transnistrian goods.
