The three parties – the PLDM, PDM and PL – that are holding negotiations to form a ruling alliance are most probably looking for a person who will accept to serve as a puppet Premier, political analyst Nicolae Chirtoaca, who heads the People’s Force Party, said in the talk show “Place for dialogue” on the public station Radio Moldova, IPN reports.
“They are looking for a new Gaburici. They want a puppet Premier who will obey their orders, who will be easily controlled from behind and who will put signatures on any document without putting questions, as it happened in the case of Banca de Economii,” stated Chirtoaca.
He does not rule out the possibility that Vlad Filat will be designated as Premier and the fact that some of the political analysts who are said to be promoting the interests of the PLDM’s leader assert this is a confirmation. “I think the PLDM and PDM came to terms. But naming Filat again as Premier after he was dismissed from this post for acts of corruption is an act of impudence and defiance. It won’t be yet surprising if this happens. Our people got used to tolerating docilely politicians’ impertinence and wait for a hero on a white horse to come and save them,” said Chirtoaca. He noted yet the fact that Vlad Filat’s relatives were arrested while the negotiations were in full swing shows that Plahotniuc does not want Filat to become Prime Minister.
Nicolae Chirtoaca considers the leaders of the three parties involved in negotiations hide something. “The taken steps are not in accordance with the statements made by the three leaders. They have over five years’ experience of holding negotiations and forming alliances. It’s not clear why some of the heads of state institutions were invited to the talks as the leaders of the PLDM and PDM, who hold all the instruments, are those who must know the situation in detail in all the areas. They may be planning something,” he said.
