Nicolae Calancea’s team CS U Craiova lost the first-leg match against AC Milan of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. The match played in Severin ended by 1-0 for the team trained by Vincenzo Montella, IPN reports.

The Moldovan goalkeeper played throughout the game and was tricked by a free kick in the 44th minute. Swiss left-back Ricardo Rodriguez scored his first goal for AC Milan. At the start of the second half, Niang was close to scoring, but Calancea protected the goal.
