Goalkeeper Nicolae Calancea signed for Dunărea Călărași. The 32-year-old player chose Dunărea even if he was also made an offer by Dinamo, IPN reports.
During the past two years, Calancea played for Universitatea Craiova, but in the recent past wasn’t included in the lineup by Italian coach Devis Mangia. In his career, he also performed for Zimbru, Krylia Sovetov, Ceahlăul and Voluntari. Calancea played 19 marches for the national football team of Moldova.
Dunărea Călărași ranks 12th in the championship of Romania and is trained by Dan Alexa.
