Moldovan goalkeeper Nicolae Calancea parted company with Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt and signed for another Romanian football club - FC Voluntari. Calancea had yet to give up a part of the money he had yet to receive from Ceahlaul so as to be able to leave Piatra Neamt, IPN reports.
Voluntari ranks last but one in League 1 and scored ten points during 17 stages. Calancea is the fifth Moldovan who will play this season in the first echelon of the championship of Romania, after Alexandru Dedov, Nicolae Milinceanu, Catalin Carp, and Alexandru Boiciuc.
Nicolae Calancea, 29, built a career at Zimbru. He signed for Ceahlaul last February and played 39 matches for this team. He also played 12 games for the national football team for Moldova.
