NGOs may forward candidates for position of observer in Governmental program

Moldovan NGOs are invited to apply for the position of an observer in the Joint Monitoring Committee for the Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine-Moldova. The announcement is made by the Government's Apparatus, Info-Prim Neo reports. It wants to include an NGO representative in the Joint Monitoring Committee. The relevant NGOs should deal with environment protection, human beings counter-trafficking, business mediation, education, tourism and culture. The letters of intent should be sent to the Government, as more information can be found at www.gov.md. From 2007 to 2013, Moldova benefits of EU funds to unfold cooperation activities at the EU's borders within the context of the EU's Neighborhood Policy. The Joint Operational Program Romania-Ukraine-Moldova will finance projects dealing with economic and social development, labor protection and preparing for emergencies and with actions of local communities to develop the civil society, provide services to the communities near the border, educational, cultural or sportive exchanges. The beneficiaries may be local and regional authorities, trade chambers, universities and NGOs.
