The public association PRO Echitate calls on the mass media outlets to get involved in the social campaign “Jurists and Journalists against Corruption in Courts”. In a news conference, the association's head Vladislav Rosca said their call is addressed to the organizations that have a weight in forming the public opinion. PRO Echitate asks being offered information space to present proofs that, according to the members of the association, will make the relevant bodies to take a correct decision as regards combating of corruption in courts, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Corruption in the legal system can be rooted out only by continuously sensitizing the people and involving civil society,” Vladislav Rosca said. Vitalie Ciofu, a member of the association, invited the press to the first presentation of the proofs of the illegalities committed by judges in the case of the Glodeni-based sugar factory. The news conference will be given on Wednesday, September 22. The league for defending the ownership rights PRO Echitate was founded last September and registered last October. It protects the property rights and provides specialized assistance.
