The next Parliament will consist of six political organizations, according to the survey “Vox Populi II– July 2009” presented on Thursday. 38.5% of the respondents with certain political convictions would vote for the Communists Party (PCRM), 17.7% – for the Liberal Party (PL), 12.8% – for the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), while 12.6% - for the Democratic Party (PDM). The Moldova Noastra Alliance would also enter the Parliament with 9.2% of the vote, while the Social-Democratic Party would garner 6.1% of the vote, Info-Prim Neo reports. The Public Opinion Barometer presented on July 20 said that the next Parliament could be formed by four parties: the PCRM with 31.1% of the vote, the PL – with 13.2%, the PDM – with 9.6%, while the PLDM – with 7.2%. 22.4% of those questioned have not yet decided who to vote for. The AMN would gain 2.6% of the poll. The election threshold is 5%. The poll “Vox Populi II– July 2009” shows that 62% of the respondents would definitely go to the polls if elections were held next Sunday, 21% would probably go, while 5% would probably not go. 7% of those surveyed will not take part in elections, while 4% have not yet decided, Victor Mocanu, president of the Association of Sociologists of Moldova, told a news conference on Thursday. The survey also says that 69.8% of the April 5 supporters of the PCRM would again vote for this party on July 29, 19.3% have not yet made up their minds, 8.9% would vote for the PDM, while 1.8% would not participate in the vote. 77% of the persons that voted for the PL on April 5 remained loyal to this party, 5.8% would support the PLDM, 6.5% – the PDM. 7.4% have not yet decided, while 2.8% will not go to the polls. 73.5% of those that voted for the PLDM would again vote for this party, 8.3% would choose the PL, 7.4% - the PDM, 9.4% – don’t know, while 1.4% will not take part in the vote. The poll shows that 68.4% of the supporters of the AMN would choose this party again, 2.6% would vote for the PL, 6.2% – for the PLDM, 7.9% – for the PDM. 13.7% have not decided yet, while about 1% will not cast their votes. 8.1% of those that voted for extraparliamentary parties and independent candidates on April 5 would now support the PCRM, 0.6% – the PPCD, 3.2% – the AMN, 6.9% – the PL, 3.2% – the PLDM, 18.7% – the PDM, 16.3% - the PSD. About 30% have not yet decided, while 12.5% will not go to the polls. The survey was carried out on a sample of 1,548 persons. It has a margin of error of 2.6%.
