A newborn baby boy wrapped into a woolen shirt was found dead amid bushes between the villages Cuhnesti and Movileni of Glodeni district. Prosecutor Ruslan Canila has told Info-Prim Neo that the baby was discovered by children who went sledding on Monday, January 24. The boy was about 39-40 weeks and lived for at most one hour after birth. According to medical examiners, he died from hypothermia. The police did not yet identify the woman who gave birth to the baby and who probably left him to die. The punishment for such an offense is 12 to 25 years in jail or even life imprisonment.
