Those who will want to meet the New Year in the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau will enjoy a concert involving national singers and a fireworks display. Close to midnight, Prime Minister Iurie Leanca will deliver a congratulatory message from the main stage of the square, IPN reports.

According to a communiqué from the Government, the artistic program starts at 4pm with a performance of music. At 7pm, the stage will be occupied by the groups “Do-Re-Mi-cii” and “Rav Studio”, followed by the young singers Denis Medone, Madalina Calin, Nicollette Fyo, Diana Brescan, Stefan Roscovan, Felicia Dunaf and Catalina Caraus. At 9pm, the concert will be continued by the pupils of the Stars Factory Irina Ceban, Alexandru Manciu, Vlad Raetski, Adriana Voloschenko and Gloria Gorceag.

The next to perform are the band “FurioSnails” and singers Natalia Gordienko, Vali Boghean, Tatiana Cerga, Marcel and Cornelia Stefanet, the folkloric group “Mostenitorii” as well as Anisoara Puica, Diana Rotaru, Catharsis, Art Group Brio Sonores and the folk music orchestra led by Vasile and Vitalie Advahov.

The evening will culminate with a fireworks display and a recital by the band “Gandul Matei”.
