A new volleyball court with a rubber surface was opened in “Valea Trandafirilor” Park in Chisinau. The court is fenced, but access to it is free, IPN reports.
According to the General Housing and Amenities Division, the works cost 1.5 million lei. The money was allocated from the municipal budget. The contractor was chosen in accordance with the legal procedures.
“The parks in Chisinau have become more attractive. Now, besides walks, those who are fond of sports have free access to the given court and to the fitness and workout grounds set up by the Division in 2022 or to the workout ground and tennis court that were in a deplorable state and were repaired also in 2022,” it is said in a press release.
