The Government approved the coat of arms and flag of the Customs Service, the uniform symbols and equipment norms for customs officers, adjusted to the European standards, on the initiative of the Service, IPN reports.

The new uniform includes a set of new elements, starting with the color of the fabric to the general design. The model combines a number of chromatic and style ideas inspired by the Europeans.

In the same meeting, the Cabinet approved the methodological working norms of the Customs Service’s mobile teams. The new provisions represent in fact the recommendations formulated by experts of the EU Border Assistance Mission to Moldova and Ukraine (EUBAM), aimed at ensuring the economic security of the state and the observance of customs regulations.
