New type of drug discovered in Moldova
A new type of drug was found on Moldova’s territory by officers of the Ministry of the Interior’s Anti-drug Division in October-November last year. According to the Ministry, the new product turned out to be synthetic, known as JWH-018, and has never been seen in Moldova before, Info-Prim Neo reports.
During examinations, it was established that this drug which is also called SPICE, is brought into the country as a nutritional preparation for plants, in the form of white powder packed into small packets named BUZZ, Special Gold, and BLISS, and as vegetal mass with the names BLOOM and PULSE. This drug causes hallucination and narcotic intoxication.
The use and sale of this drug are penalized in accordance with the Penal Code article on trafficking in drugs.

The seminar brings together specialists of the specialized subdivisions of the Ministry of the Interior, the Prosecutor General’s Office, the National Examination Center, the national commission for fighting trafficking in drugs, and experts from Russia, Poland, Ukraine, and Belarus.
