A new trolleybus route started work in Chisinau on a trial basis from January 1, 2013. It joins the quarter Posta Veche and Buiucani district, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Chisinau City Hall, the trolleybus route No. 27 will be named “Ceucari St - Ion Creanga St” and will have the following itinerary: along the streets Ceucari, Calea Orheiului, Petricani, Mihai Viteazul, Columna, H. Coanda, Ion Creanga, and the Square of Principates’ Union, and back along the streets Ion Creanga, Stefan cel Mare si Sfant, Mihai Viteazul, Petricani, Calea Orheiului, and Ceucari. In order to ensure direct trolleybus connection between the North Bus Station, the Railway Terminal and Botanica district, the itinerary of the trolleybus route No. 20 was modified to go along the streets Muncesti, Burebista, Sarmizegetusa, Decebal, Iu. Gagarin, Dimitrie Cantemir, and Ismail, and the North Bus Station, and back along Ismail, Dimitrie Cantemir, Iu. Gagarin, and Muncesti.
