New Civic Education textbooks were edited for the 2012-2013 academic year for the 5th, 7th, and 10th grades, and the Universal Literature textbook for the 12th grade has also been edited. These are textbooks for disciplines that were not included in the editing schedule until recently, reports Info-Prim Neo, quoting the Ministry of Education. These eight titles were edited after a contest-based selection, for the already-existing disciplines. Four of them are for elementary education, three are for high-school, and one is for French language for the 7th grade. Another 41 titles were adapted to the modernized curriculum and were, respectively, re-edited. Of these 14 are for elementary school, 14 for middle school, and 13 for high-school. 50 textbooks were edited in 2010, and 42 in 2011.
