The tables and lists of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and precursors will be extended and will include 18 names of new substances that will be under state control, IPN reports, quoting a Government decision.
The Ministry of Health explained that the move follows the identification of serious abuses in the consumption of new substances used as narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and precursors. These have a narcotic effect and the danger resides in the fact that they are used especially by beginner drug users.
The tables and lists of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances and precursors now contain about 300 substances that are under state control. These are strictly supervised and are available only by prescription.
