The Chisinau City Hall will put up a new sports area in Râșcani Forest-Park. The new grounds that will be built there are intended for various categories of sports. They will take the place of the current improvised grounds, said the mayor general of Chisinau Ion Ceban, IPN reports.



“We intend to rehabilitate this part of the park after the previous years we renovated and built alleys, including alleys that connect Râșcani and Ciocana districts, installed lighting, cleaned the lake and arranged the beach, but also created new recreational areas,” stated the mayor general.



In the area adjoining the park, the road and sidewalks were rehabilitated and parking lots were put up the previous years. The local park called “Autodrom” was also revamped.



In the Forest-Park between Râșcani and Ciocana districts, the municipality will soon initiate landscaping works in the perimeter and around the first lake and also at the entrance to the park. Mayor general Ion Ceban, together with the team, went to the site to see when the works of the first stage will start. “This park is very popular and we aim to modernize it and create conditions for all the residents and also the guests of the capital city. I want to remind that during the last years, we managed to start the rehabilitation of practically all the parks, alleys and green areas, but also to create new ones. The Public Garden “Stephan the Great and Holy” still remained,” said the mayor.



The Chisinau City Hall noted that the rehabilitation and landscaping projects in all the parks are carried out in stages so as to succeed in improving the conditions every year.
