For personal cars older than 10 years, the technical testing will be done every two years, compared to the annual testing done at present. The amendments are stipulated in the regulations on the periodic technical inspection of road vehicles, which is to be approved by the Cabinet on Wednesday, IPN reports.

At the same time, for coaches, taxis, ambulances, vehicles involved in the transportation of dangerous goods and vehicles intended for training, which are newer than 10 years, the technical testing will be done once a year and not once every 6 months as it is currently.

The clarifications were made by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development following public reports about the modification of the rules of technical inspection of vehicles.
