Moldovan nationals intending to travel to Israel, in case they can prove that the visit is necessary, must first receive a special entry permit from the Israeli Consulate in Kiev and fill out an entry form at least 24 hours before arriving at Ben Gurion Airport, the Moldovan Embassy in Israel communicated in a press release.
As Moldova is a Covid-19 “red zone” country, Moldovan travelers must fill out a form upon arrival and stay in isolation for 14 days. At the airport, during the flight and throughout the visit, Moldovans, including children aged 6 years and older, are required to wear a face mask, maintain a social distance of at least 2 meters and observe personal hygiene.
A complete list of countries flagged red by Israel is available here. For further information, Moldovan nationals may contact the Israeli Minister of Health by telephone at *5400 from Israel, or at +972 8 6241 010 from abroad, or by email at Call.Habriut@moh.health.gov.il.
When exiting Israel, Moldovan citizens must complete a departure form at least 24 hours before the flight and present upon arrival at the Airport the ticket and the departure permit (digital and hard copy).
Travelers’ body temperature will be taken and if Covid-19 symptoms are present, admission into the Airport will be denied.
