Chisinau asked Tiraspol as a matter of urgency to present data on the needs of the Transnistrian region. In this context, a new working meeting of electro-energy specialists from both sides of the Dniester River took place in Chisinau today, the Reintegration Office reports.

Thus, Chisinau's representatives requested information as soon as possible on the categories and number of consumers in the critical infrastructure, including domestic consumers, hospitals, schools, social centers. Also needed are data on the volumes of resources used by these categories during various periods, as well as information on distribution by hours and days, IPN reports.

Based on the figures obtained, the authorities will determine the necessary volumes of gas and electricity to be contracted on the free market, and the delivery mechanism will be provided by Energocom. The company has been designated responsible for all purchases under this grant.

The Chisinau authorities want the implementation of the grant program to be operational, transparent, accountable, with accurate and correct provision of the required data to consumers in the critical infrastructure of the Transnistrian region in order to fully benefit from the humanitarian aid provided by the European Union, the BPR press release said.
