Protection of the environment by introducing a modern recycling system, creation of jobs by reanimating the vocational education system and replacement of the political class by bringing people who didn’t take part in schemes of corruption to power. These are the priorities of the Ecologist Green Party, the Party of Law and Justice and the Collective Action– Civic Congress Party that were presented in a new round of electoral debates on ProTV Chisinau, IPN reports.
Anatolie Prohnitski, of the Ecologist Green Party, said that when it comes to power, their party will insists on the adoption of laws that will contribute to the protection of the environment, provision of the citizens with water and sewerage and distribution of money from the National Ecological Fund according to the strict needs of the citizens, not according to political criteria.
“We plead for stopping the construction of the six hydroelectric plants on the Nistru. We suggest creating a functional system for processing waste. Education and the fight against corruption are our priorities. We propose holding a referendum on the Transnistrian conflict, while the issue that will be put up for the plebiscite will be agreed with civil society,” Anatolie Prohnitski stated in the electoral debates “You vote for you on ProTV”.
Nadejda Lisac, of the Party of Law and Justice, said the party’s main priorities include the creation of jobs and increasing of the level of education of society by massive investments in school infrastructure, by raising teachers’ salaries and by developing the vocational education system.
“We start from education. Nothing can be changed in any of the areas if we do not have high-quality education. We aim to resuscitate vocational education as this guarantees new jobs. The schools should train new specialists as the realities changed,” stated Nadejda Lisac.
Iurie Muntean, of the Collective Action– Civic Congress Party denied the idea that their party consists of representatives of the PSRM and PCRM and said that their professional team consists of people who didn’t harm their image by taking part in governance earlier.
“Of the 7,000 members of the Collective Action– Civic Congress Party, only 10% are former members of the PCRM. The rest are primarily young people who didn’t take part in political processes in the Republic of Moldova. In general, we do not have Socialists, except for a local organization in Drochia, which last year defected from the PSRM to our party,” stated Iurie Muntean.
