A new working meeting of the chief negotiators for the Transnistrian settlement process, in the 1+1 format, will be held in Chisinau on December 2, IPN reports.

The Reintegration Policies Bureau said the meeting will center on subjects related to the energy crisis, the susceptibility of the inhabitants from both sides of the Nistru River and the ensuring of free movement.

After the meeting, the negotiator on behalf of Chisinau, Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian will brief the press in the Government Building starting at 2pm.

The last round in the 1+1 format was held a month ago in Tiraspol. Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian said then that even if the discussions were concrete and were held in a calm atmosphere, the sides didn’t manage to reach a consensus on the energy issue. According to him, it was agreed that the group of energy experts from the two sides will analyze particular technical and legal details that would enable to solve the problem, at least partially.
