New road built in Parlita village

A section of about 2 km of the central road of Parlita village of Ungheni district, which connects the local roads and the national roads R1 and R17, was rehabilitated, IPN reports.

According to the Centru Regional Development Agency, the project assessors discussed with villagers, who expressed their satisfaction with the quality of the new road. They said they will no longer have to walk through mud to the church, the school or the mayor’s office.

The road was rehabilitated within the Safe Access to Public Life Project that is implemented by the Centru Regional Development Agency with money from the National Regional Development Fund. A sum of 8 million lei was allocated for implementing the project. The local authorities contributed 150,000 lei.
