The Cabinet on August 1 approved the program “Diaspora Reunites at Home DAR 1+3” for 2019-2025, which is aimed at mobilizing the human and financial potential of the diaspora for ensuring the local socioeconomic development of Moldova, IPN reports.
The projects will be financed based on a “1+3” partnership: the financial contribution of the diaspora will be supplemented by the Government in concert with the local public authorities and the development partners/donors. The financing for “DAR 1+3” and the way of funding this by the Government will be decided annually within the budget possibilities.
The program “DAR 1+3” will be implemented as of January 1, 2019. The Bureau for Diaspora Relations will be responsible for its promotion in the country and abroad.
