The position of Deputy Secretary General was instituted at the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization. The Deputy Secretary General will take over the “European integration” area. A draft decision to this effect was approved by the Cabinet on Wednesday, IPN reports.

Also, according to Minister Dumitru Alaiba, a division responsible for “European integration” will be created. In this respect, the maximum number of employees of the central apparatus of the Ministry will be increased by two personnel units. The additional costs against the costs incurred for the current structure were estimated at 1 358 200 lei annually.
