Persons responsible for the economic sector from interested institutions, experts of embassies and representatives of economic organizations will meet regularly to discuss the most interesting economic subjects. The new communication platform “Economic Diplomatic Club” will be coordinated by the Organization for Investment Attraction and Export Promotion (MIEPO), Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Economy Ministry, the MIEPO will collect topics of interest from economic and commercial consultants of embassies so as to compile the agenda of the discussions. After the agenda is agreed, the meetings of the club will be held on a monthly basis. The diplomats will also visit investment facilities. The platform “Economic Diplomatic Club” was launched by the Economy Ministry on January 18. It will have a flexible format. “Besides discussions on the investment and commercial opportunities, Economic Diplomatic Club will offer the possibility of benefiting from the expertise of all the diplomats working in Moldova and from information about the developments in the countries they represent,” said Economy Minister Valeriu Lazar. The initiative to launch the platform was supported by over 30 representatives of embassies and international organizations.
