The authorities are to draw up a new plan of action for implementing the Association Agreement with the European Union, Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet said after the August 10 meeting of the Cabinet, quoted by IPN.
Speaking about the plan adopted in October 2014, Valeriu Strelet said the delay in putting it into practice was caused by a number of factors, including the election campaign, political instability and the minority government.
“We discussed the perspective of adopting a new plan of action for implementing the Association Agreement in a very committed way. This plan will be undertaken by the new Government that was voted in on July 30, given that the previous plan was adopted in a period when the Leanca Government could be considered a minority one,” said the Prime Minister.
