The Government approved the plan of action for implementing the Moldova – EU Association Agreement for 2017 – 2019, IPN reports. Prime Minister Pavel Filip said the document is a ‘map’ of the Cabinet’s priorities for the next three years.
“I’m glad that we end the year on an ascending note on the European dimension as well. The messages of encouragement and support of European high-ranking officials must mobilize us in 2017. I thank all those who worked on this plan of action,” stated the Premier.
The way the plan is implemented will be reported in an electronic format, through the platform www.monitorizare.gov.md.
The costs associated with the implementation of the plan will be covered with state budget money and the funds provided by the development partners, in particular the European Union.
The Moldova – EU Association Agreement was signed on June 27, 2014 and took effect on July 1, 2016.
