New passport office for urgent applications has been opened
A new passport office processing urgent applications, the third in Chisinau city, has been opened in Rascani district, Info-Prim Neo learned from the Ministry of Information Development.
6 automated submission desks were opened in the office situated on 30/1 A. Doga Street. About 300 persons will be served daily. Moldovan citizens can submit applications for passports or identity cards required in short amounts of time (within 4, 8, 24 hours, 5, 10 days). The office will also issue biometric passports. The applicant will receive the document from the office that received the application.
The office will work six days a week: Monday to Friday: from 8 AM to 5 PM, on Saturday from 8 AM to 2 PM.
The first passport office issuing documents in urgency regime was opened in 1998 on 11 Gh. Asachi Street. The second office was opened in the building of the Ministry of Information Development.
