The new Regulations of Parliament that are close to being finished may contain provisions concerning the officers of the Parliament’s Guard Service. Speaker Igor Corman told a news conference that such regulations are necessary as the behavior of some of the MPs is beyond limits sometimes, IPN reports.

“There must be instruments and mechanisms by which to neutralize this behavior in a civilized way,” Igor Corman said on July 15.

The Speaker voiced hope that the adoption of the regulations will be one of the priorities of the Parliament’s autumn-winter session.
