The Cabinet suggested naming Moldova’s Ambassador to the United States Cristina Balan as Ambassador to the United Mexican States based in Washington on a concurrent basis.

In the same meeting, Moldova’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation Andrei Neguța was nominated as Ambassador to Tajikistan based in Moscow concurrently. In the previous meeting, the Cabinet proposed Andrei Neguța for the post of Ambassador to Kazakhstan as well.

The candidates are to be appointed by presidential decree, IPN reports.
