The MPs of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists (BCS) on Thursday proposed a no-confidence motion against the policies pursued by the Ministry of Education and Research (MER) led by Dan Perciun. It happens a week after the BCS group had a similar position in relation to the policies of the Ministry of Health, IPN reports.
"The motion expresses the vote of no confidence to the policies pursued by the MER led by Dan Perciun, ascertaining the failure to correct the content of the textbooks criticized for errors and distorted interpretations," said BCS MP Alla Darovannaya.
The parliamentarian accused the MER of mismanagement of public funds which, according to her, was highlighted in competent authorities’ reports. She also invoked the lack of effective policies on teachers' salaries and the adaptation of the education system to the current requirements.
Last week, the BCS submitted a no-confidence motion against the policies of the Ministry of Health led by Ala Nemerenco. The opposition invokes poor management because of which people lose their lives. The motion is to be examined in the Parliament's sittings of February 20-28.
