New Moldovan delegation at the Joint Control Commission

The Moldovan delegation at the Joint Control Commission was modified through a Government decision. Co-president of the Commission will remain Ion Solonenco, the main counsellor of State Chancellery’s Bureau for re-integration, Info-Prim Neo reports. The other members of the Moldovan delegation at JCC will be: Ion Leahu, expert within the Service of Information and Security, Sergiu Gutu, military policy specialist at the Minister of Defence, Valeriu Cerba, Minister of Internal Affairs’ chief of cabinet, and Sergiu Golovaci, adjunct chief of the Service for Civil Protection and Exceptional Situations. Sergiu Valcov, main expert within State Chancellery’s Bureau for re-integration, was appointed secretary. The delegates at JCC are appointed according to the Agreement regarding principles of peaceful settlement of the armed conflict in the transnistrian region of the Republic of Moldova. The document was signed on July 21, 1992. The last time Moldova replaced its delegates was in 2002. The Government also allotted 113.000 lei for repairing and furnishing the headquarters of military observers from Dorotcaia, Dubasari district.
