New 'ministers' recite poems to Premier

Twenty-four first graders of the Romanian-French high school “Gheorghe Asachi” were guided by Prime Minister Vlad Filat through the Government Building on September 1. The Premier gave them by a fairytale book with the inscription “Welcome to the World of Knowledge”, while the children recited poems to him, Info-Prim Neo reports. “Today you start a new life that is full of knowledge,” Vlad Filat told the children. The excursion through the Government Building began in the Cabinet's meeting hall. The Premier invited the children to seat down and imagine themselves to be members of the Cabinet. “If you make effort and try hard, you all can become high-ranking officials,” he said. From the meeting hall, the children went to the Prime Minister's office. They asked who the persons from the table pictures were and what a door in his office was hiding. Vlad Filat told them there was his family in the pictures and there were a resting room and a small gym there. He showed them the sports equipment and urged them to lead a healthy lifestyle. Afterward, the Premier showed the children several other halls where the most important meetings take place. “Today's meeting was the most pleasant one during the last 11 months as those who today were members of the Cabinet are absolutely wonderful,” Vlad Filat said after the excursion. The high school's head Boris Volosatyi thanked the Prime Minister for the excursion. In the end, the children wished Vlad Filat health and good luck. There are 160 first-graders at the Chisinau-based high school “Gheorghe Asachi” this year.
