Romania has a new military attaché in Moldova. This is Colonel Cristi-Mitica Ladaniuc, who was presented by Romania’s Ambassador in Chisinau Daniel Ionita at the Ministry of Defense on August 3, IPN reports.
His predecessor, Colonel Dumitru Neacsu completed his duties in Chisinau and Deputy Minister of Defense Gheorghe Galbura awarded him the medal “For Consolidation of Arms Brotherhood”. The deputy minister approved of the performance of Colonel Neacsu as a military attaché, thanking him for his personal involvement in promoting cooperation in the defense sector. “Owing to Colonel Neacsu, our cooperation has witnessed an upward trend during the past four years and there were identified joint actions that are for the benefit of both of the armies,” stated Gheorghe Galbura.
He expressed his conviction that the new military attaché will continue the projects of his predecessor, will contribute to stimulating the Moldovan-Romanian agenda and will support the identification and implementation of joint activities in defense.
