New mayoral elections will be held in Sangera town of Chisinau municipality, Berlinti village of Briceni district and Capriana village of Straseni district on November 19. Decisions to this effect were taken by the Central Election Commission on August 29, IPN reports.

The Commission’s secretary Veaceslav Agrigoroae said the elections in Sangera and Berlinti will be organized following the death of mayors there, while in Capriana in connection with the mayor’s incapacity to fulfill his duties during a period longer than four months.

Earlier, it was decided that new mayoral elections on November 19 will be held in Fundurii Noi village of Glodeni district, Stefanesti village of Floresti, Plopi village of Cantemir, Sarateni village of Leova, Ghiliceni village of Telenesti and Lapusna village of Hancesti.
