The low-cost company of the United Arab Emirates Flydubai plans to operating flights to Moldova from autumn. The administration of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure had discussions on the issue with Flydubai commercial manager for Europe Andrea Catto, IPN reports.
According to the head of the Ministry’s press service Irina Gasca, there was drafted an agreement on air transportation services that is to be signed by the Government of Moldova and the Government of the United Arab Emirates in the near future. The document will provide the legal basis needed by Flydubai to operate regular flights to Chisinau.
According to Andrea Catto, the company intends to provide regular Dubai-Chisinau flights throughout the year. Flydubai is also able to offer convenient connections to about 60 destinations under its management.
The first low-cost company in Moldova, Wizzair, also starts work this autumn. Flydubai will be the second company of the kind in the country.
