New elections will be held in Lozova commune of Strășeni district on May 15, 2022 to choose a new local council, as the Central Election Commission decided on January 25, IPN reports.
The mayor of Lozova informed the Commission that conditions for dissolving the local council appeared as the council hasn’t held meetings for six consecutive months and, respectively, hasn’t adopted any decision.
Earlier, the Commission decided that new local mayoral elections the same day will take place in nine settlements:
– Ghetlova village of Orhei district;
– Horodiște village of Rezina district;
– Zastânca village of Soroca district;
– Moara de Piatră village of Drochia district;
– Tătărești village of Strășeni district,
– Glinjeni village of Fălești district;
– Păulești village of Călărași district;
– Alexăndrești village of Râșcani district;
–Zăicani village of Râșcani district.
