Three political parties submitted their lists of candidates for the posts of Chisinau councilor on May 11. These are the Electoral Bloc “European People’s Platform of Moldova – Iurie Leanca”, the Green Ecologist Party and the “Our” Party. Also, Andrei Gutu applied to be registered as an independent candidate for the post of municipal councilor, IPN reports.

As a result of a draw, it was decided that Andrei Gutu will be under No. 9 on the ballot, the Green Ecologist Party – under No. 10, the Electoral Bloc “European People’s Platform of Moldova – Iurie Leanca” – under No. 11, while the “Our” Party – under No. 12.

The Green Ecologist Party also submitted the documents for having its candidate for the mayoralty of Chisinau Anatolie Prohnitski registered. This will take the 11th position on the ballot for now.

The documents for registration can be submitted by May 14.
