Attending the opening ceremony, Minister of Health Andrei Usatyi said the visit to the doctor must become a tradition for everyone. “I recommend all the country’s people to see a doctor regularly for prophylaxis purposes, with or without reason, so as to have a long and healthy life,” he stated.

The Iurceni Health Center was built within the World Bank-funded Health and Social Assistance Services Project. The cost of the project was about 2.25 million lei. The center was outfitted with the necessary medical equipment and with sanitary transport.
