New hand baggage rules started to be applied in the airports of the European Union. Any hand baggage that contains mobile devices and electrical appliances will be examined separately, IPN reports.
According to a press release of the Tourism Agency, among the devices that will be checked separately are the cameras, laptops, mobile phones, pocket computers as well as such electrical appliances as irons, hairdryers, toys with batteries and portable sewing machines.
The checking rules were toughened up for the reason that international terrorists use new methods for hiding explosive devices in hand baggage.
