The National League of Mayor Associations in Moldova (LNAPM) today launched the “Civil Servant’s Guide”. The handbook is aimed to close the information gap in various fields of public administration. The publishing of the guide was determined by the ambiguous approach of the legislation to matters that concern the organisation of the public office and the legal status of the public official, as well as their conduct, which sometimes stimulates incompetence and bureaucracy. Founded in 2000, LNAPM is a non-profit, non-governmental and politically unaffiliated organisation which is considered to be among the strongest and most active structures that promote the interests of local communities. LNAPM is open for collaboration and partnership with all mayors and public officials in Moldova aiming at developing the communities, reducing poverty, improving local public administration and defending the local elected authorities’ rights.
