There is no other greater satisfaction than seeing your child smiling and being happy. That’s why the though that I can help the children live in a better world by being a Goodwill Ambassador makes me feel accomplished,” said Serghei Chirilov.
Serghei Chirilov is the senior coach of Moldova’s youth football team. He said football offered him many special moments in life. Through football he learned new things and saw many wonderful places. “I consider myself lucky as I was given the chance to play football professionally. I think that this experience that I will share with the children will be an example and a model for them to grow up courageous, wise, confident and open. Thus, the experience of ex-footballer and coach is very useful,” he stated.
He also said that the MGS activities help the children to develop harmoniously, while the attention devoted to them makes them feel protected and loved.
Serghei Chirilov stressed that a successful ambassador of the MOVE Project should carry out activities aimed at promoting love, support and solidarity. “Any active participation in Fair Play events, the support for organizing more activities within the MOVE Project, the dissemination of the values of “Terre des hommes” in the area of child protection, the involvement of more persons in making the deprived children feel happy are important steps towards success,” he said.
In his new position, the Goodwill Ambassador will be responsible for Fair Play events in Ungheni, Soroca and Chisinau.
