New general secretary of State Chancellery to start job on September 4

The new general secretary of the State Chancellery will start her job on September 4. Appointed by the Government today, Ana Calinici has a degree in law and a master’s degree in labor law. She is vacating her MP seat, and implicitly leaving Parliament’s Legal Commission, to take up the new job. She also served in different capacities at the Ministry of Justice in the past.

Meanwhile, Tatiana Molcean was recalled by the Government from the position of Moldova’s Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Geneva and that of Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and by extension to the Principality of Liechtenstein. The recall is in connection with her transfer to another job.

According to Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Tatiana Molcean “will take up a very important position in the United Nations Agencies”.

At the same time, the Government approved the appointment of Ludmila Pavlov as deputy general secretary responsible in charge of European integration. According to Minister Dan Perciun, Ludmila Pavlov has worked in the Ministry of Education for over 20 years. She is currently heads the Directorate responsible for European integration and public policy management.
