The new Ambassador of the European Union in Chisinau Peter Michalko presented the credentials to President Igor Dodon in a meeting on September 13, IPN reports.

“The EU is our neighbor and is one of the most important partners and I hope the dynamics of our relations will increase,” Igor Dodon stated on this occasion.

Igor Dodon and Peter Michalko agreed to meet next week to discuss in detail Moldova’s domestic and foreign policy, the bilateral and multilateral cooperation, the situation in the region and other issues of major importance for the Republic of Moldova.
